Sam accepts briefs in criminal and quasi-criminal matters.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Sam was an Associate at Doogue + George, where he managed a varied and complex indictable crime practice. He regularly appeared in the Magistrates’ Court, Children’s Court and County Court. Sam appeared in committal hearings, plea hearings, contravention hearings and bail applications. He instructed in County Court and Supreme Court trials and had carriage of Court of Appeal matters. Sam also developed expertise preparing written submissions to administrative decision-making bodies.

More recently, Sam was Associate to the Honourable Justice Lasry AM of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
